The Canon iR 4570 is a complete, space saving communication hub that combines highly-secure, print, copy, scan, fax and distribution services, enabling organisations to manage documents from a single source at a controlled cost for medium office workgroups.

The iR 4570 offers increases performance by enabling businesses to create, manage and distribute documents from one device. Information can be distributed through various different means, including fax and email, ensuring workplace productivity is increased and costs are kept to a minimum.

The latest iR portfolio offers the first internal finishing with hole punching in the market place which means that you now do not need large external finishers, saving costs and space.

Communicate electronically and process speedily

Use Universal Send, to scan in documents and send them electronically, thus saving time and costs. PDFs can be created at the iR 4570 itself and retrieved using Canon's searchable PDF feature. Also, Canon has developed Mailbox Notification, which stores documents on the device mailbox and emails only the URL to recipients as an attachment for them to retrieve when they need it via the web.

Create and collate complex documents with ease

Complete all your documents in-house through the device's range of finishing options. For easy document collation, use Canon's intelligent iW Publishing Manager software to merge and collate documents electronically from different Windows applications (Microsoft™ Word™, Excel™, etc). So everything is printed as it should be without manual labour or intervention.

Improve your document security

Security innovations on the iR 4570 keep your confidential data well protected. Secure Print delays printing until you are at the device to enter a password. ID Management and Single Sign On features limit access to the device through pre-set passwords. To ensure that only authorised recipients see documents, you can encrypt PDFs with a password. For extra safety, all information on the hard disk drive can be encrypted or erased with the new security kit. All data on the network can be protected by encryption using HTTPS.

The intuitive control panel on the device and Remote User Interface (RUI) at the user's PC, make sophisticated document handling tasks simple. The new product also give businesses the opportunity to maximise their return on investment thanks to the JAVA-based MEAP platform, which enables Canon to create customised solutions to meet specific business requirements and adapt to customer needs.
