Quality printing
Quality printing isn’t just the remit of larger, multifunctional devices. The LBP5970 is
small in size for an A3 printer (measuring just 545 x 651 x 380 mm), but big on performance,
enabling you to produce vibrant colour documents with a highly professional look. And it can
produce its first printout in just 7.5 seconds. The LBP5970 is also incredibly convenient too
with everything - including toners and paper - accessible from the front of the device, making
usage and general maintenance effortless.
Quality that’s cost-effective
Giving your communication a competitive edge with colour costs less than you think. Unlike
most cartridge-based machines where the drum and toner units are inseparable, in the LBP5970 they’r
e housed separately so it’s easier to change them and you can reduce wastage by only replacing what
needs replacing. Double sided printing saves money too by reducing paper consumption, as well as
adding a professional look to your printed documents.
Flexible and productive
The paper feed tray accommodates media ranging from 64gsm to 220gsm and a 1970 sheet paper
supply prevents constant replenishment for added productivity. Effortless network printing comes
courtesy of either Canon’s advanced-performance UFR II Lite proprietary printer language, or
PCL5c/6.
Efficient and environmentally considerate
Innovative on-demand fusing technology means there’s no warm-up time from a sleep mode, is
automatically invoked when the device is not being used. It also means you consume 75% less power
than with conventional laser printers.
Environmentally considerate production methods ensure that the machine complies with the
European RoHS and WEEE* directives, prohibiting lead and hazardous substances from the
manufacturing process. In addition the LBP5970 conforms to the International Energy Star
Program.
