Canon’s flagship iR C5185i allows businesses to easily produce colour documents cost-effectively and securely - saving the expense of outsourcing. Featuring superb finishing, integrated document accounting, and numerous user-friendly innovations, it helps your business achieve maximum productivity every working day.

High productivity for demanding offices
The iR C5185i is capable of an incredible 51 prints per minute for both colour and black and white documents giving you the flexibility and productivity needed to be sure you never miss another deadline.

A wide range of finishing options are available providing the flexibility to produce highly professional documents with little effort. It’s easy to produce stapled or hole-punched reports, eye-catching booklets and impactful customer proposals in colour, and using variety of different media types. Print quality is consistently superb at 1200 dpi, with prints that look crisp and sharp from the first to the last and full support for PCL 6 is provided.

New ways to communicate
An innovative “one-pass” scanning system means that both sides of a document are scanned simultaneously, for incredible speeds of 100 impressions per minute. Documents can be instantly ‘ dispatched’ as PDFs to a huge variety of locations such as network folders, email addresses and mailboxes.

Effortless IT management
The new iW Access Management System (AMS) featured within Canon’s uniFLOW Output Manager allows IT managers to create access profiles for device functions such as colour printing, faxing or scanning. This means specific controls can be established, controlling access to certain functions for more effective cost management and security.

Canon’s iWMC ensures simple set-up and ongoing management, with time-saving features such as auto-problem notification for administrators e.g. low paper or toner.

The latest technology standard
The latest standards in technology are supported such as next generation "IP v6" and Web Services on Devices (WSD) in Microsoft Windows Vista, allowing features such as “network plug and play” and “job completion notice”.

Advanced security for complete peace of mind
The advanced security systems built-in to the iR C5185i ensures compliance with Common Criteria (ISO 15408), the global standard for IT security. Other security features include secure watermark, encryption of PDFs, personal mailboxes and secure printing.
