The new Canon iR8070 is designed for mid-range production environments, delivering high speed, high quality images and a wide range of finishing options. It's perfect for short-run jobs and repeat printing where deadlines are critical, while its affordable price, proven technology and small footprint make it an ideal investment for all print on demand environments.

Ultimate print productivity

The iR8070 features high quality scanning speed technology inputting documents at 55 ipm and 600 dpi. Output is a rapid 80 ppm for A4 black and white printing. High paper capacity delivers longer print runs with minimal operator intervention, and the device's reliability, straight paper path , impressive parts life minimises downtime. Meanwhile, the embedded e-maintenance feature enables the device to be monitored using Canon's remote diagnostic service.

Exceptional versatility and professional finishing

Offer your clients a broader choice of media, weight and stock options including 64-200gsm, recycled, colour, tracing paper, transparency and tab stock. Finishing options include stacking, hole punching, folding and booklet making.

Superior print quality and speed

The iR8070 has a high image quality of 1200 x 600 dpi for copying and 2400 x 600 dpi for printing - with up to 256 gradations. While First Copy Out Time (FCOT) has been reduced to 3 seconds.

Powerful image server

The device's 20 GB integrated image server enables high performance document management and makes data exchange within a network more efficient. It also allows copy reservation for up to 5 jobs - with no limit on the amount of images that can be scanned in continuously.

Advanced security and control

New security features include 128-bit data encryption and access controls, while you can create user profiles and control operations directly from your workstation through a web-based remote user interface. This provides easy job administration, with advanced mailbox operation, priority settings and time-saving status check.

Future-proofed through Canon technology

Offer new services without investing in costly external hardware with MEAP, a new JAVA-based software platform that comes as standard. MEAP enables virtually any application functionality to be added to the device at a later stage including bespoke applications.
