eCopy ShareScan OP connects the copier to an organization’s e-mail, desktop, and other networked enterprise applications for low-cost, easy, instantaneous distribution and management of paper-based information. The superior Administration Tools are preferred by Information Technology (IT) managers and Management Information Systems (MIS) professionals in companies of all sizes.

Bundled with eCopy ShareScan OP, eCopy Desktop is an easy-to-use PDF creation and image editing solution offering a comprehensive set of tools including annotation, stamps, an optical character recognition (OCR), to allow business users to work with and distribute scanned documents as part of their existing electronic workflows.

eCopy ShareScan OP

eCopy ShareScan OP sets a competitive standard for simple, secure, and cost effective electronic distribution and integration of paper-based information. This award-winning software enables users of a departmental or enterprise network to share the digital copier's ability to turn paper documents into digital files, which can then be distributed down the hall or around the world over the corporate network or Internet. 

To use eCopy, the user simply places the paper document in the digital copier's paper tray, and selects an eCopy option. Scanning options include sending to the user's desktop, network fax, e-mail, or backend enterprise application. The document runs through the digital copier at high speed. Then, the user selects recipients from the online address book and creates a PDF file that can be handled like any other electronic file.

eCopy ScanStation and eCopy ShareScan OP Embedded  
eCopy ShareScan OP is available as both a product that will run inside your copier, eCopy embedded, or as an external piece of hardware that attaches to your copier, the eCopy ScanStation.

About eCopy ShareScan OP Embedded
The internal offering, eCopy Embedded, runs inside copiers enabling eCopy ShareScan OP to be accessed from the copier’s touch screen.

About the eCopy ScanStation
The external solution, the eCopy ScanStation attaches to the copier or scanner and includes an integrated, free standing touch screen, keyboard, and PC.

Supports both color and black & white scanning

Destination options are shown as easy-to-read icons on the eCopy ScanStation touch screen and may include: Scan and Mail, Scan and Fax, Scan to Desktop, Scan to Printer, and Scan to document management system or enterprise application.

eCopy Desktop provides a powerful set of document workflow tools that enable individual users to treat eCopies of paper documents just like electronic files right from their desktop workstations.

eCopy Desktop works with most network fax, e-mail, and ODMA-compliant document management applications: including, Lotus Notes Mail, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Captaris RightFax (NT Server), Interwoven, Domino.Doc, Documentum, and others.
