Supporting Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Account manager Ross McAulay oversaw the distribution of free devices to local charities across Glasgow as a legacy of the COP26 conference (read more on page 9 of the Xerox CSR Report). He also submitted donations of $10 per hour provided by Xerox in recognition of his time spent volunteering in the community, to one of the recipients of those devices, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity (GCHC).
“You see some things when you’re in the children’s hospital, and with four young boys, any little I can do to help out is good,” Ross said.
One of the latest projects that is benefitting from donations is the Teddy Hospital.
‘Our new Teddy Hospital campaign has seen us bring a Charity-funded initiative in the children’s hospital to schools and nurseries across the country,” explained Steven Mair, Marketing and Communications Officer with GCHC.
‘In the children’s hospital, young patients can relieve anxieties about upcoming operations or procedures through the magic of play in the Teddy Hospital. Our campaign sees us take this experience to the classroom, delivering an educational experience on the children’s hospital that one in three children in Glasgow will visit each year.’
Overall, Ross has donated over £500 to the Charity, and £1,000 overall to causes close to his heart.
