Founded in 1985, Fulprint is a York-based print company that serves the whole of the UK. They use the latest digital technology to deliver the highest quality print work and personal service to their customers.

Fulprint has an exciting mix of local, national and international customers. They provide a wide variety of services such as foiling, die-cutting and creasing to create packaging alongside more traditional stationery and marketing collateral.

The Challenge

Upgrading Digital Print Capabilities to Meet Customer Demand

Fulprint was already using Xerox digital printers. But as their current machines were approaching five years old, it was time to upgrade the machines to the latest digital print technology and look at how they could increase capabilities.

Due to an increase in customer demand and the need to offer printing on heavier stocks, Fulprint engaged with Concept Group, a Xerox Business Solutions company, to become their trusted print partner and help them increase their digital print capabilities and improve reliability.

The Solution

Leveraging Xerox’s Latest Digital Print Technology

While Fulprint’s current digital printers were ready to be upgraded due to their age, the digital and litho print company recognised the opportunity to increase their digital print offering and improve reliability.

Two new Xerox digital printers were installed. The new printers were chosen due to their high-quality printing capabilities, improved reliability and the ability to print on 400GSM, which helps Fulprint meet customers' demands for printing on heavier stocks for runs such as packaging.

The two new Xerox printers have helped Fulprint double its digital printing capabilities. While improving reliability, which is paramount in many of the fast turnaround projects they complete for their customers.

Not only has the new solution helped them double their output, but it has also helped them meet customer demand by expanding their offering to include printing on heavier stocks. Concept Group provided comprehensive training on the new machines to enable a smooth transition for staff.
